The inside: this is more noteworthy. So the outside is velvet the inside is lined with a cream material lining with faux fur surrounding the cream lining. The faux fur on the outside shows as a trim and is not seen as much.

Great, highly wearable vintage condition. The fur is gorgeously glossy, thick, and has NO shedding or bad storage odors. Please note: There is a small split in the interior leather hide (shown in the final photo). It is completely covered and hidden by the thick fur when the stole is worn, meaning it does not affect the outward look or function of the garment at all. One front panel has some localized stiffness typical of 1950s furs, but the piece remains structurally sound, stunning, and ready for an evening out!

This is a custom made cape of heavy dense black wool. It is 44″ long from the shoulder and 18″ shoulder to shoulder. The drape on the back of the coat is incredible due to the way it was constructed. The lining is in excellent condition as is the entire piece. The opening for your arms have been handstitched. The buttons are equally beautiful. It has been kept in a cedar lined closet for as long as I have owned it and has never been worn by me and appears not much from the women that gave it to me. You will not be sorry with this purchase if you have been wanting a cape of this quality.
