1940s sheer white cotton folk dress with hand embroidered floral collar detail and puff sleeves. Crisp lightweight semi sheer cotton with a softly fitted shape, gathered center front seam detail, and side tie construction. Fits the small mannequin comfortably with room. Cinches with waist ties. Presents beautifully overall with minor scattered weave splits/small holes consistent with age, one small embroidery pull at collar, and slight seam separation in two areas including the back yoke and one side seam. Measures approximately laid flat – 45” top to bottom 13” shoulder seam to seam 17.5” pit to pit – stretches to 19” 16” across waist 21” across hips 32” across bottom
