Gathered front and back yoke. Made in USA by J. Ellis Petites, this piece most likely dates from the 1980s or 1990s. 100% machine washable polyester. Depending on how this is worn, they would most likely be lost in the folds of the dress.

Lovely 60s Henry Lee party dress. Ethereal chiffon with satin underlayer. In great shape with no significant flaws. You can see some color bleed on the inner layer that is not visible when worn. Measures approx 44″ bust, 33″ waist,32″ hips, 40″ length.
This dress is so amazing in person. This is from the 60’s or 70’s made out of a flowing nylon chiffon, styled in California. There is a underdress so that it is not see-through. The underdress is a solid yellow color and the top nylon chiffon is much wider and very flowing.

These skirts are so wide, I had to lay them out on the floor so you could truly get a sense of them. Sassy belt aside, everything else about this dress seems drawn from an impressionist’s painting, from the blurring effect of the many skin-friendly cotton-blend layers, to the floral print itself, which seems to be capturing the dreams of flowers, rather than the blossoms themselves.
Significant wear and deterioration, but I wasn’t about to leave this beauty behind! 2 significant ones on the hem (one held together by a safety pin), but if you’re crafty, I’m sure you can repair without even noticing.
