This dress is Vera for FormFit Rogers. Emilio Pucci also did a line with FormFit Rogers and the pattern of this dress seems very inspired by Pucci. Please review photos, there are some small markings on the bottom of the dress.
Has a bit of stretch obviously, as a knit. Blue ground with purple and green floral motifs. Looks like an underwater garden. Just a few tiny spots of discoloration as shown. I have not attempted to clean this.
A very rare 1950’s Emilio Pucci shirtwaist dress. The design was definitely inspired by the « New Look » trends of the era and features a narrow waistline and flared skirt. The label indicates it was designed after he opened his Florence shop and made specifically for Neiman Marcus. The dress has some tears in the fabric on the back under the collar and one near the right arm seam. There are also a few faint small stains on the skirt.
