Vintage chanel Jeans Paris New York 100% Cotton High Waist size 29 (26 1/2” waist). Please read full description. Talon 42 zipper. 100% cotton. This is NOT a stretch denim. Size 29 but waist measures 26 1/2”. See pic 9 for some laying flat measurements and see measurements below. All pics are of the same one pair of jeans. See all 12 pics for details & enlarge each pic for a closer look. Any wear/fading/discoloration, imperfections (see pic 12 as it points out an area of stitching/thread that appears did not get sewn/stitched into the denim), imperfections in the denim from the manufacturing process of the denim or anything else is to be considered character. Please see pics 10, 11 & 12 as some things are pointed out. On the inside out side of the waist band it a piece of metal inserted in the denim. It has a piece of paper with writing on it. The front of the paper: LAM D. The back of the paper: N 2. The label on the right rear pocket says: chanel in gold color letting with PARIS to the left of it and NEW YORK to the right of it. Waist measures 13 1/4” from side to side. Rise (crotch seam to top of waist) is 11 1/4”. Hips area (measurement from side to side across where bottom of fly starts) is 17 1/4”. Inseam (crotch seam to end of leg) is 29 1/4”. End of leg measures 8” from size worn side. 10” up from end of leg, leg measures 8” from side to side. Guesstimate circa 1970s (maybe early 1980s). If you collect, you’ll know. Sourced in/from California. Jeans are as is which is just as found, pictured and described. These do not have a “cc” logo as is Coco Chanel logo. Thus, I cannot say whether or not these jeans are related to the Coco Chanel brand (as I do not know). But, my assumption is that they are NOT. The branding of the jeans is on the right rear pocket (as described above). These are true vintage jeans. I do not know the history of them as I have never come across another pair branded like them. It is the only pair of vintage denim I’ve come across with this “chanel” branding on the pocket. These are being sold as is which is (as mentioned above) just as found, pictured and described. During the era (1970s or very early 1980s), this “style” or “cut” with embroidered pockets was made by more than one designer. The jeans from different designers weren’t exactly the same. But, they were similar. If you collect vintage denim or lived during this era, you will likely understand this description. Color can be affected by lighting background device or monitor.
