Beautiful cotton 1940s button up blouse with asymmetrical front. Overall in great vintage condition, does have a small faint stain that isn’t super noticeable because of the pattern (pictured). Labelled “An Original Welcome Stranger by Samuel Green”. Good condition, self buttons are rusted and one is missing. Overall needs a pressing. This beautiful Victorian bodice is made from black silk faille. It has covered buttons in front, 1 needs to be sewn on. It’s trimmed with pretty black seed bead appliques. It’s lined in a check cotton, the waist tape needs a hook and eye. Wear on the top edge of the collar and a few small rubbed spots on the shoulder of the sleeve. It measures 32 inches around the bust, across the back shoulder is 11, waist is 23 1/2 and it’s about 19 inches long from the shoulder to center front point. Thank you for looking at my auction. This product is an antique 1900s green tweed wool walking shirt and jacket outfit. Outfit jacket is 20 inches long, 17 inches across the front from under arm under arm, waist is 15 1/2 inches across. The skirt is 41 inches in the front 42 inches in the back, waist 22 and 2 inches down from the waist it is 30 inches across. Very nice little buttons and details on both the skirt and the jacket. ******* note as depicted in the last few pictures, the silk around the neck, front and cuffs has begun to deteriorate and a few very small areas on skirt that the material is a little thin

If you are small enough, you could still wear it. I think likely my mother (deceased) added it. It is not shown in any photos of my ancestors. It looks fake to my amature eyes. I have no one to ask.

It does need one small repair to a seam at the waist line. Overall good condition for its age. The bust is 38 inches and the waist is 26 inches.
