Heavyweight wool tweed outer shell with a black satin lining and fur-backed interior zip-in lining. The silhouette is a loose A-line cut, oversized mod buttons, and a wide collar that adds visual weight to the neckline.
It’s hard to believe this jacket is 60+ years old because the condition is immaculate. It has 3 buttons on the front and 2 button detail at the sleeves. The lining is in excellent condition as well. It has 2 functional front pockets and a back vent at the hem. There are no moth holes, stains or tears. I suspect it was worn very little, if at all. The tweed is a gorgeous brown and quite soft for wool with little specks of red, blue, green and orange throughout. I’ve included a close up photo to show the detail.
