This pretty dress is made from a heavy crepe, probably rayon and made in Hong Kong. It’s fully lined and has a metal zipper in back, it’s red but with orange tones. The front of the bodice is opened and held together by rhinestone ball buttons, but some skin will peek through between the buttons. IT’s a heavy, well made dress. It’s marked a vintage 12 and measures 37 inches around the bust, midriff/waist is 31, hips are 44 and it’s 54 1/2 inches long. Excellent. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. This is a vintage size Large. By researching tags it has been confirmed this set was manufactured in the 1960’s here in the USA. A peignoir is a loose, lightweight dressing gown or negligee for women, often made of sheer, translucent fabric like chiffon which became common during this time period. Known for elegance these were worn in the boudoir. This particular set has beautiful cream lace adorning it. It is absolutely stunning. These are in good vintage condition.
