The total dress length is about 53”. The model in the last photo is 5’ 3” and it is full length on her with toes peeping out. It may fit up to a size 8. This was just cleaned and is in excellent preowned condition.
I made and wore this dress for a friend’s wedding in 1972. The dress would be ideal to take apart and use the tapestry fabric in a skirt or into a renaissance dress. The total length is 79″, the tapestry at the bust is 32″.

This was my aunt’s originally, and I’ve held onto it for years hoping to wear it to a Ren Faire but I never have (but maybe you can!). Her fashion collection was in collabloration with designer Luis Estevez.
This is a beautiful vintage dress! The tags say Alden’s Fashions Chicago as well as ILGWU Union Made. It is a vintage size 11/12. That’s different from today’s sizing, so please check the measurements in the photos. For reference, the mannequin is a S/M. There are a few spots where the velour has rubbed off. A couple on one sleeve, and one near the hem (please see pictures). Also missing the hook for the clasp at the neck. Smoke free and freshly cleaned, but smells old.
It is in good condition with no holes or stains. There is some wear to the fabric. I am not sure what the fabric is and it is labeled handmade so there isn’t a size tag. It seems to fit like a 6/8 or a S/M. Please check the measurements in the photos to make sure it will work for you. It is extra long so be sure to check the length measurement as well.

Fingertip length. Includes a period appropriate veil and petticoat acquired with the dress, creating the complete bridal presentation. Juliet style veil with comb fastener. Dress retains a small stain/remnant discoloration near the hem and a small stain on the back that is largely concealed by the waist ties when worn.
