What a beautifully constructed cape! My mother made a similar one back in the 1970s so I am guessing this one is of that era. The pattern, though is very 1940s England and the wool is fantastic! Beautiful rich tan and brown plaid.
Fabulous looking poncho, instant retro look – front zip, front pockets, diamond shaped darker brown detail, reinforced arm holes. It’s on front, left side between pocket and zipper. Probably can buff out but I don’t want to try and possibly discolor.
