DESCRIPTION This is fun vintage prom gown from the 1980s that was made in the USA by L.A. Glo, and it is in a hard to find plus size! The dress is made out of a dark burgundy red crushed velvet. The upper part of the dress is lined in satin, but the lower half is unlined. The dress is sleeveless, and there is a wide collar that runs along the top of the dress that is edged in white lace. In the center of the neckline, there are sequin and pearl bead accents. The dress closes with a zipper down the back. CONDITION This dress is in excellent vintage condition. Entire tube portion of dress is made to stretch and form fit the body of the wearer. Dress is pull on and will come up to where the bust line begins. There is a beautiful big bow set at just above the rear. This could use a steam ironing to hang properly, though it’s done pretty well kept hanging in air conditioned home for decades. Labeled a vintage 5/6 which would comfortably fit an XS/S. Perhaps even a S/M body. Elasticizing is in terrific condition and is Not deteriorating in any way. No cosmetic issues to report.
