There are a few areas on the left sleeve that have loose thread from missing beading. There are a few small holes, at the top of the right shoulder and at the right chest/armpit. This is still such a gorgeous piece of fashion history and has lots of life left!
Vintage homemade fully lined green felt jacket embellished w/embroidery size 12p. Fully lined with shoulder pads inside lining. Front pockets are lined. The felt is a thick felt. Inside lining is stitched in by hand. The one imperfection is the markings by left pocket. See last picture.Jacket has not been worn and has been stored in a non smoking home. Beautiful work of art! We believe it was created in the 1930’s or 40’s. Proceeds of the sale go to disabled adult.
The bodice has a beaded waistline and exotic floral appliqué on the front bodice. There is cotton lace accents in the yokes and trimming the sleeves of the bodice and also trimming the skirt. See photo.
