1860’s Brown Silk Day Dress Antique

This brown silk dress was created in the 1860’s of brown silk and lined in brown cotton. Unfortunately it has heavy damage. The photos are part of the description. Bust 33 inches, waist 24 inches, shoulders 15 inches across and sleeve length 19 inches. The length from waist to front hem is 39.5 inches. The skirt is heavily damaged in areas and there are underarm stains and damage to the yoke of the dress. There is damage at the front waistline closure, It does still have its buttons. It does have an old trunk scent.

1880’s Pleated Silk Bustle Skirt Daytime Antique

This black silk pleated skirt was originally part of a two piece bustle dress. The waist is 24 inches and the length from waist band to hem is 39.5 inches. The waist band has been reinforced with grosgrain ribbon. The back opening and placket of the skirt needs some repair. See photos. There is wear to the top of the silk pleats and wear to the bottom of the skirt. There are stitch witchery patches inside the skirt. These are not visible from the outside.
