On the inside of dress which you can’t see from the outside is a hole in the lining. I think they used a safety pin to put up the train. Look at photos. The train is longer in back.

This could be one of my favorite dresses I’ve ever had. This is made from a gorgeous green and white floaty woven (non-stretch) cotton over a green acetate lining. Peter pan collar is made from a white cotton or cotton blend waffle weave that is substantial.
