This is a chic vintage sleeveless beaded sweater cocktail top. So elegant! By Atkins. From the 1950’s or possibly early 1960’s. Probably a size small to medium – 36″ bust. Made in Hong Kong. Black. Fine sweater knit of 70% lambs wool, 10% nylon, 20% angora rabbit hair. Soft, not scratchy. Lined with silky fabric. Round rib knit neck with fine metal back zipper. Wonderful beaded flowers in black jet glass beads. Allover little clusters of beads. Sleeveless, with beaded armhole edges. Fully lined with silky fabric, In exceptional vintage condition – nice and clean, with no damage, no missing or loose beads that I could find. From a smoke-free home. MEASUREMENTS taken laid flat, unstretched, and doubled Bust 36 Waist about 23. Bottom band is 15 1/2″ across. Length 21.
50s 60s VTG Beaded Sweater Top Shell Sleeveless Lined Lambs Wool Angora sz 36. Gorgeous, still in its original box from Emery, Bird, Thayer a department store in Kansas City that closed in 1968. This beauty does not appear to have been worn. Laying flat, it is 16.5″ across under the arm holes, 13″ across the shoulders & 19″ long from shoulder to hem.
