Matching fine silk over top or jacket. a panel of silk hangs over the upper bodice. Not a lot wrong with this dress. Small spot on the silk. Antique 1860’s – 1880’s Gray & Black Pinstripe Caplet Cape Black Lace Trim

This gray and black silk pinstripe caplet is lined in brown cotton and is trimmed in black lace. The silk has spots, some splits and small holes and wear. The lace is torn off on one side and loose on the other side and in the back. Lace needs repair. It is a fragile piece but a good example of Victorian fashion . It would be a great pattern piece or inspiration piece.
