Vintage 40s Ladye Helene White Rayon & Mesh Lace Full Gathered Skirt Size Small (VD3) To give a poodle skirt extra « bounce and flounce » when you wear it to a sock hop or other celebration, wear a full, gathered skirt like this beneath it. This is a slip made from nylon netting, the fabric most-often used decades ago to make stiff, full slips. In very good condition. Some stray threads. Some pinholes as shown in the photos. They are not large but are from wear/age. This fabric is stretchy. The elastic has worn out and the previous owner used safety pins to size it. Flat measurements are approximately 17.5 inches across the waist x 30 inches from the waist to the bottom hem.
