We found Aunt Lucy’s dresses and hats. This is one of Aunt Lucy’s handmade dresses with matching belt. It’s handmade of a cotton blend, unlined. The fabric is thin and semi sheer in the light. We hand washed and hung to dry.

This dress, with a matching brown belt is so of the era. I would call this a narrow cut size XS/ S. 0/2. The cut is narrow in the bodice. The torch was passed. My mother also wore lots of Bonnie Cashin in the 1960s and 1970s so I was aware of the modern minimalists, and sought them out for her when I found them.
