A most fetching antique original 1912 Edwardian dress fresh from a NY estate. The dress is made of green silk. The bodice is made of ivory silk that has a pink and gray floral pattern. The skirt has a tiered over skirt with drapery on each side.
Evening style embellished gown. – shoulder epaulettes in beaded jet. – blue sequin floral appliques. – genuine antique late Edwardian. – velvet ribbon trim. – pleated ruffle trim on sleeves. – black satin skirt lining.
Dress was found in closet at estate sale of 98 year old lady – she had a note attached to dress stating she wore dress to a wedding in 1972.

The tan coloring is distressed/destroyed a little bit in spots, and it is barrrreellyyy noticeable. 1-Poor-many flaws, visible when worn. I factor in age, dinginess, and flaws and their impact on quality of the wear.
Absolutely perfect for any kind of formal, evening, wedding, dance or any special event. A darling shoulder wrap comes with the dress. I’m not sure of the material of the wrap but reminds me of a silk, rayon or nylon. The color is a mint green. The photos are showing more blueish but it’s closer the the last picture. The dress is very soft. The fabric is in great vintage condition. There are 2 places that I am aware of that is shown in the pictures. There is not a tag stating the brand. I checked the RN data base and found Amy Deb Fashions as the company it was made by.

Short puffed sleeves have two tiers for extra oomph. The waist is fitted with slightly dropped waist seaming that dips in a vee in front. Incredible multi-tiered skirt that is more than a full circle – the color change offers a hint of drama to offset the overall sweetness, and the skirt will move beautifully for dancing. The top is butter yellow, the middle goldenrod, and the bottom salmon tinged with apricot. The colors are clear but soft, if that makes sense. Most of the photos show the bodice more tan than it is in real life and show the skirt bottom as rosy pink, which it is not. The most accurate colors on my monitor are shown in the photo on the dark skinned mannequin and the one showing the full circle skirt. TAGS: No tags CLOSURES: Sideseam metal zipper CONDITION: A few faint spots on the back of the bodice and very minor seam stress there – see close-up. Some subtle color variations in the skirt that are not noticeable with the volume and the three tiered color progression.
