The beading makes the dress very heavy and this was a nice addition to stabilize it while hanging. Midnight blue chiffon fabric–this was manufactured before fabric content labels were used, so I’m not sure if the chiffon is silk, rayon, or nylon.

Vintage Scala Black And Gold Beaded Event Jacket Sz L pre-Owned. Stunning gold braid on black chiffon with black bugle beads. This top is in relatively good shape. It is missing some bugle beads in numerous spots but that is not hard to fix. Or you can just leave it as it’s not really noticeable. This is vintage so it runs on the smaller side the bust measures 40-41” at most same for the waist . Of course if you don’t hook it closed that’s not a problem. It also has large shoulder pads as was the style then . Still is a statement making piece. Sleeve length is 24” and wrist measures 9”.
