Absolutely gorgeous party dress from the late 40s. Fit & flare – side metal talon zipper – poinsettia or similar flower of embossed velvet – velvet trim – scalloped edged full circle skirt – slim fit – bodice has boning – see photos for measures – condition issues: a few pin holes & small tear in skirt that does not distract/is not noticeable when wearing, straps are soundly attached but may need reinforcement, fabric has a small section on back where fabric has some white threading, i have not attempted to resolve that but may clean out or can be covered over w/black fabric pen – see last photos for flaws noted – generally in very good wearable condition for age and a beautiful piece to add to your wardrobe!
