1950’s – 1960’s Nylon Full Slip
This pink slip was manufactured in the 1950’s or 1960’s and is made of nylon. Taffeta has been added to the bottom so that it could be used for a longer dress. The extension is 9.5 inches in length. From the shoulder to the hem is 53 inches. The bust is 38 inches, the waist is 28 inches and the hips are 38 inches. There are a few very tiny spots on the original nightgown. There is a larger stain on the lower extension in front at bottom. See photos.

This is a beautiful ivory felt with gold-applied all around illustrations including painted red and blue flowers and green leaves. The full circle skirt measures 110 inches – length of the skirt is 31″, and waist 27″. This skirt came from the estate of a dancer who owned many fine 1950s dresses and costumes. This is a great opportunity to purchase a unique collectible piece of midcentury women’s clothing. NOTE: in a few places on the inside, the paint or pigment soaked through. Obviously this is not noticeable when wearing. Hook closure.
