Beautiful Mid To Late 1800’s Victorian Era Silk Hand Beaded Bodice Mourning Jacket. Hand beaded with beaded fringe detail at the waist, velvet collar and waist trim, and a small crocheted pocket at the waist. Jacket also has lace detail around the collar although it is incomplete. Some tears and small bits of discoloration seen in photos but otherwise structurally in great condition for its age and most of the beading is still intact. Petite XXS Measurements as seen in photos.
Incredible authentic 1800s two-piece ensemble made from black and white hounds tooth wall with periwinkle blue and tape silk window pane overlay and black crocheted appliqués. The bodice has incredible sleeves, silk bows at the wrists and neckline and boning throughout the blouse. All hooks and eyes are attached and original. There are no designer names or store labels anywhere. The original skirt is also included although unfortunately it does have holes throughout. Sadly the largest one is of course in the center front and measures approximately 2 inches wide. The closure in the back of the skirt is hooks and eyes and there is an interesting construction that creates a bustled effect. The silk fabric is just luscious. It is an Extraordinary color, an Extraordinary style. The bodice has a bust of 32”, waist of 24” and has shoulders that are 12” across. The sleeve length from the shoulder to the top of the lace is 21”.

It is in good condition for its age. IT IS Missing the little loop IS BROKEN to hook the silver piece to the waist Other than that I don’t see any more issues. I did examine the dress well and I only see those two issues.
