Beautiful vintage red crushed velvet sleeveless maxi dress. I believe this stunner is from the 70’s. This dress was given to my mother in the early to mid 1980’s preowned by her friend who was a belly dancer who had a lot of nice & unique clothes. My mother never wore it, she gave it to me and I never wore it. I’ve had it in a sealed storage bin since the early 90’s. Damage and scent free. In great condition for it’s age. Fabric is soft. Zip back. Low scooped back. The only tag on inside of dress says Union Made. This is a very important tag, International Ladies Garment Workers Union AFL-CIO. There is no size tag and no evidence of one being removed. Please see photo’s for measurements. If you need more measurements please let me know and I get them to you. A few photo’s came out looking purple like. Color is a gorgeous red. Time to find a new home to be worn and enjoyed. Heads will turn for sure and all eyes will be on you. This is a very rare find! This is a gorgeous dress with gathered blouson bodice and Dolman sleeves. The intricate floral pattern on the 100% rayon fabric needs to be seen close up to be appreciated. The dress is basically brown when viewed from a distance, but up close you can see the red roses, blue- green ribbons, and black and tan accents.

Mint condition and the top is 19″ across from armpit to armpit laid flat, sleeves are 21″ from neckline and length is 27″. Skirt waist is 16″ across laid flat and length is 42″.
