It is an incredibly special, authentic piece of early 20th-century fashion and California history. This exquisite white cotton « lingerie blouse » (or shirtwaist) wasentirely handmade by my grandmother, Hattie Hill, in Ventura, California, shortly after her marriage in 1906.
