Really unique item, band collar, button closure, soft and thick woven body with a thinner quilted overlay on the shoulders, placket, and pockets. Approx measurements shoulder to shoulder: 14.5” pit to pit: 17” collar seam to hem: 27” shoulder seam to cuff: 21” Item is pre owned. Good condition with some spots, yellowing, and discoloration throughout. Has not been dry cleaned prior to listing, which might brighten it up some and fade some of the spots. I have inspected the jacket and I see no moth holes or other deterioration to the lightweight wool tweed. The color is a beautiful blue with a contrasting stitch in a light brown. The backing on the belt is highly distressed as shown clearly in the photographs, but the fabric on the front of the belt is fine.
Light normal wear consistent with age.
Wonderful custom made or home sewn by an incredibly gifted seamstress 1960s pink tweed jacket . Fully lined. Modeled on my size 6-8 dress form. As pointed out in the pics, there is a decorative button missing off one sleeve cuff. There are also 3 stains all inside only on the lining. Both armpits are stained and there is a small stain on the abdomen. No stains on the outside.
It is fitted lined and has shoulder pads very small shoulder pants.
Exterior is excellent, but the interior acetate lining has torn at both underarm seams (see photos). Inventory item:A13. If there are any flaws/ stains, they will be listed above.
