This vintage 1950’s hand-made brocade dress and jacket set in black and metallic gold is a stunning cocktail outfit. The set includes a dress and jacket, both in size small. Measurements laying flat are as follows: armpit to armpit 18″; waist 13″; waist to hem 24″; shoulder to shoulder 15″; shoulder to hem 38″. The look of the outfit is reminiscent of Jackie O’s style, making it a unique and elegant choice for a special occasion. Made in the United States, this original set exudes a timeless charm and sophistication.
This original cotton wool blend outfit features a suit style with a light pink color, making it suitable for all special occasion. This piece is so pretty. It should probably be in a museum. The dress and jacket have a sewn in lining and the dress has pink lace heming with zipper with hook and eye closure on dress, and covered pink buttons closure on the jacket.
This sweater coat was made by my grandmother for my mom, in the 1960’s. It was hardly worn, so is in excellent condition except for a stain in the lining (photo above). The color is a pale, yellowish green. It is the type of style that was meant to be worn with long gloves. It is called, either, an opera coat or a swing coat. The model in the photo is 6’1″. It would fit a person from approximately 5’6″ to 6’2″, depending on how long you like your coats. It would keep you warm, going to a party or out to dinner, or strolling through museums in early autumn or early spring. There are no closures. From collar to hem, it is about 40″.
This long button-down dress jacket is a sophisticated look for any spring time event. This jacket is vintage from the mid-1900s, in great condition with no holes or stains or tears. This coat jacket does not have a size tag but I am 150 lb and it fits me perfectly so I’m assuming it’s a large to medium.
There is also 2 spots on the side near the hem on the coat as shown. Coat then fits over top of course and it has 21″ sleeves on the coat. On fray spot on top back collar of coat. Slash pockets coat and dress.
