Vintage 1950s Border Embroidered Gingham Party Dress Fit and flare dress from the 50s or 60s with white embroidery in a border design on the skirt. Made from a party dress material. (I think it’s acetate/taffeta. Something with lots of swish!) Black nylon zipper. Tag reads: “Lee Jordan New York” Super flattering design with a scoop front and back! Would make a lovely holiday party dress! Bust: 34” Waist: 25”-26” Waist to hem length: 24“ with 1“ in the hem.
This needs a slip IMO as it is a semi-sheer knit* I have no idea what the fabric is. I put this against white and black to try and show color best 🙂 PTP 15-19″ Top 2 Bottom 51″ Due to the age, fiber content, and previous care history, I cannot guarantee how the fabric will respond to future washing, drying, steaming, or pressing. Vintage knits may shrink, stretch, felt, lose shape, or experience color changes if not cared for properly. I recommend spot cleaning when possible or consulting a professional cleaner experienced with vintage textiles. Please review all photos, measurements, and condition details prior to purchase.
