Gorgeous Lilli Ann suit from the late 1940s, early 1950s. Beautifully tailored – very “new look” with a nip waist. Boucle wool in a deep rich purple. Shawl collar. 2 button closure, glass and gold tone metal. Shoulder pads. Short back kick pleat. Jacket: Bust is 38 inches. Waist is 32 inches. Bottom edge is 38 inches. Shoulder seam to seam is 16-1/2 inches. Sleeve is 21-1/2 inches long. There is 1-1/2 inches that could be let down for a longer sleeve. Length is 21-1/2 inches. Jacket is fully lined in satin. Skirt: Waist is 28 inches. Hips are 40 inches. Length is 24 inches. Zipper and button closure. Lined in the back. Wonderful condition.
