For sale is this WONDERFUL 1950s hand made cocktail dress. This came from a Los Angeles costume house that rented vintage clothing to movies and theatre. This is a stunning cocktail dress with a black taffeta base and an ecru lace overlay. It has wonderful points above the shoulders and velvet straps, and a great pleated detail on the back skirt. This is a great larger size, with a 42″ bust and a 34″ waist- about a modern size 12. It is in very good condition with a few areas where the delicate lace netting has broken. It measures 43.5″ long and is shown on a Bust 32″ mannequin. It is photographed with a double tule petticoat to show off the fullness of the skirt (not included).

Vintage Climax by David Howard Light Blue Prom/Formal/Maxi Dress – 1973 This is a (t-back?) dress with a ruffle neckline and a tie in the back and zips up the back. I wore it once to my Senior Prom in 1973. It is made of a shiny (satin-looking?) fabric, but back then we removed those tags so they wouldn’t show, so I can’t be sure of the exact material or size. It is a Climax by David Howard dress. I measured around the top at the bottom of the bustline and it measures about 29 inches; and from the bottom of the bustline to the bottom of the dress is about 45 inches – I’m 5’3″ and would have been wearing some kind of heels. It looks much better on a person than it does on a hanger! Also, it was previously cleaned, but it MIGHT NEED TO BE CLEANED again, and it definitely NEEDS TO BE PRESSED as it has been sitting in a plastic bag in my closet for decades.

This is a great pair of vintage pants by MJ Concepts in Sportswear. There are yellow stains on the front waist. The crotch area has a stain. The legs have stains at the fold/knee line. The bottom of the legs are stained. Please see the photos.When laying flat, the waist measures 14 inches.When flat, the hip area measures 20.5 inches. The inseam (crotch to the bottom of the leg) measures 29.5 inches. The rise (waist to crotch) is 14 inches. The opening at the bottom of the legs measure 9.5 inches.
