One size fits most. Length measures approximately 50 inches & measurement from pit to pit measures approximately 46 inches wide. Has an interior belt to cinch the waist. True Vtg Mid-century 1960’s Moroccan Couture Caftan Maxi Dress Handmade Brocade
This amazing true vintage 1960s handmade Moroccan Caftan is in near-perfect condition. The stunning details include 113 closures down the front (yes, I counted them ) and 9 closures on each sleeve. Beautiful green and gold brocade and fully lined in yellow. Handmade in Tangier Morocco in the 1960’s by « Au Chic », this rare item is more than a Garment, it is a wearable work of art. After careful inspection, the only thing I can find wrong with it are two of the buttons on the very bottom side slit are missing & can be seen in the last photo. This is hardly noticeable as I never noticed it until I was inspecting it inch by inch. The rest of the Caftan is in impeccable condition with no other flaws and without odors.
