ITEM DESCRIPTION: I’ve been hiding this gem for years and I’m finally letting it go to a new home!The skirt is crisp and swishy, I believe it to be silk but the weight and crispness makes me unsure… it has pink flocked flowers and vines. It has a gored construction and is exceptionally high-end designer quality. Add your own belt, I have worn with both pink and green, both looked pretty fab! Shown over crinoline, not included. Vintage 1940s / 1950s Orange Sleeveless Dress Iridescent Gown (B-35″ W-26.5″)

Vintage 1940s orange iridescent sleeveless dress. MEASUREMENTS (approximate): Bust – 35″ Waist – 26 1/2″ Hips – free Length – 47″ Lovely gown with a gorgeous shiny color. The skirt is very full. This would be a great piece to wear to a dance. Side metal zipper. Overall good condition with light wear. There are a few small spots by the neck. Some pulls in the material. Some light staining on the skirt. The inner arms and inner collar have some wear (not visible when worn). One side of the bust has some odd creasing. There is a bit of loose stitching on the waist. See photos for condition. A note on vintage clothing: I am not the original owner of these items, therefore I cannot guarantee their history. I am a non-smoker myself, but can’t say the garment has never been around cigarette smoke or moth balls. While I would never list an item I find to have an offensive odor, I cannot ensure buyers (especially those very sensitive to odors) will feel the same as smell is subjective.
