Vintage 1970’s Courreges Gray Ribbed Crewneck Sweater with Embroidered Logo. Fabric tag is gone, likely an acrylic blend, per other examples of the era. A vintage (late 1970’s–early 1980’s?) Courreges crisp, beautifully designed 2-piece skirt suit in a navy blue cotton blend. The sizing on each item is different: The jacket is labeled a 000 which I would say is a 6/8 (see measurements below) and the pencil skirt is labeled A, which is more like a 4/6 (see measurements below.) The double-breasted, moto-styled jacket (which might have had shoulder pads–the seams of the lining at both shoulders have an opening) features stylized sleeves that are sewn to slightly puff at the shoulders–finished with button cuffs, an open pointed collar, two horizontal zippered chest pockets, a moto jacket style back with a band at the lower back with double button closures, and elasticized panels on the side–to blouse a bit at the waist. The straight pencil skirt (unlined) features a back button and zip closure, a waistband that has 2 buttons at the front–more for style than function–two side slash pockets at the hips, and a couple of pleats on the front to the sides of the pockets. The skirt has been taken out to the max and has a ribbon hem on the interior. The skirt does not have a vent or slit. The suit fabric is made of 67% polyester and 33% cotton, the lining is 100% acetate. The suit is in excellent pre-owned, vintage condition. Freshly cleaned. Per above at the shoulders of the jacket on the inside are 2 openings at the seam of the lining–where I assume were shoulder pads. Here we have an authentic Courreges Paris pencil skirt. It is made from a white wool rayon blend and has a white acetate lining. The skirt is knee length and slightly pleated into the waistband. There is an invisible zipper in the side seam with a button at the top.
Length 67 cm. Waist 33 cm. And 3-5 week to other countries. Color: Green. These are used clothes, clean, with minor signs of wear.

SIZE: Labeled size « a ». If you add it to the length of the jumper itself, you’ll have overall length from shoulder to hem. It’s fully lined in white acetate. CONDITION: A subtle area of what looks like uneven wear on the upper bodice band in back – see closeup – the area of less nap looks a bit paler.
COURREGES HYPERBOLE PARIS. 100% cotton. The lower legs have been tightened see photo 10 & 11. Small stains on lower left leg front and back see 2 last photos. Take a good look all the photos. Such actions are against the international laws.
Courreges is not really a vintage label per se, Andre and Coqueline designed from 1961 to 2011 without a pause. And while their mid-60’s work represents the house in the most enduring ways, they also moved through the 70s and 80s without constantly regurgitating their previous work. A 1980’s panelled lamb leather and suede jacket in pale grey, red and black that is oh so very French. Asymmetrical placket that fastens with button and loop closures, there is a belt that widens to a peak in back. The red and black are the leather – the grey, suede. Lined in black synthetic satin, we would do this as a suit jacket with either very tight, cropped pants or a long, similarly tight skirt. Bust up to 38″, shoulder to shoulder 16″, outer sleeve 24″ and length 24.5″. Excellent condition. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I am always happy to help.
