This complete, authentic 1940s ensemble has been preserved together for over 80 years and includes the wedding gown, the original matching beaded headpiece, and the exact historical hooped petticoat engineered to give the skirt its stunning drape.
No maker’s label but these were often made by Vanity Fair and other lingerie lines. The torch was passed. My mother also wore lots of Bonnie Cashin in the 1960s and 1970s so I was aware of the modern minimalists, and sought them out for her when I found them.
