This vintage Arthur Schafer dress is a stunning piece made from 100% silk in a vibrant fuchsia hot pink color. The flowy design and tea dress style make it a gorgeous choice for any special occasion. There is a silk chiffon overpiece on the top that functions like a lightweight cape. The sleeves are also silk chiffon. It is a vintage piece, so it includes very small shoulder pads. It has a back zipper as well as 3 buttons that close the chiffon overpiece. With a regular size M, this original piece is sure to add a touch of elegance and sophistication to any wardrobe. There is a slight discoloration on the front chiffon panel. I included closeup pictures of it.

The most notable structural issue is a 5″ straight tear in the tulle of the overlay on the back-left bodice. Aside from this tear, the tulle is actually in pretty good shape. It is totally shot. There’s very light underarm yellowing (the underarms and shoulders are in good structural shape).

Label says “Size 11”. No stretch. Fabric content not stated. Jonathan Logan was a popular manufacturer of younger women’s dresses – geared to the young, but not the super trendy, usually classic and dressy.
