Lovely early 1900’s petticoat and lacy shirtwaist blouse in wonderful condition. Both pieces are true Victorian era antique whites and the construction is amazing! The Blouse features a high neckline, button cuffs, and tailored waist with lace and white work embroidery trim. There are pearl shell buttons at the cuffs and down the back, and tiny (1/8″) pin tucks. A couple of the pin tucks have pulled loose, but other than that no damage. The measurements (laying flat) are shoulder 13″, bust 34″, waist 32″, sleeve 24″, and shoulder to hem front 21″ and back 16″. The Slip is slightly longer in back than front to accommodate a bustle. The slip features a ruffled hem, 2 1/2″ tucks in front, a pocket, and tiny pleats around the waist for a full 140″ sweep! The measurements are 22″ waist, and waist to hem front 36 1/2″ ; back 38″.
