TEXTILE:rayon faille. Love this dress now that it has been altered. It is from the late 40s and features a rayon taffeta, although a very light weight taffeta. The scallop hem is updated and the deep red wide velvet ribbon / rosebud is added.
Cropped late 40s early 50s rayon faille bolero. This is more unfinished than damaged! Peaked lapels go all the way up to the shoulder (right shoulder is missing its tack stitch). Right sleeve is unhemmed. Four hook and eye closures down the front.
