80s vintage R J Steven’s floral midi dress in dark green multi-color. Deep V neckline with 4-snap bib panel, short puff sleeves with a covered button on each sleeve, shoulder pads, back soft pleat panel from edge of shoulders to waist (V-shaped) elastic waist, soft-pleated skirt with side-slant pockets. I am guessing it is a one size style probably comfortably fitting up to a size large. The fabric feels like rayon. The dress has a seam straight down the sides with the fluttering sleeve on the other side of the seam.
The button on sleeve cuff is not original. no holes/stains or tears. The buttons on the dress are velvet and the button on the sleeve cuff is plastic. The dress has pockets. It is rayon. Sleeve 21″.
This 1940’s long rayon coat was most likely part of a two piece ensemble. It would have had a matching dress of the same fabric worn under it. Eisenberg was a very well known American designer. The coat is in good condition except for the discoloration from age on the shoulders. See photos. I have not cleaned the garment. The bust is 38 inches, the waist is 32 inches and the hips are 40 inches. The shoulders measure 15 inches across the back and the sleeve length is 26 inches. From the shoulders to the hem is 47 inches.
