THE TOP SLEEVE HAS AN EPAULET THAT IS TRIMMED IN TWO ROWS OF BRAID WITH THE BOTTOM CUFF NOTCHED WITH HOOK AND EYE CLOSURE. FINE CARTRIDGE PLEATING WHERE THE SKIRTING MEETS THE BODICE AND SKIRTING OPENS TO MASSIVE FULLNESS WITH WOOL BINDING AT THE BOTTOM EDGE AND THE INNER BOTTOM LINED IN POLISHED COTTON. THE BODICE HAS A FAN OF BONING ON THE INTERIOR ON EACH SIDE AND IS LINED IN COTTON TWILL. INTERIOR CHEST HAS FULL PADDING. CONDITION: THERE IS A FIVE INCH STRAIGHT TEAR JUST ASIDE THE OPENING OF THE SKIRT ON THE FRONT LEFT SIDE. A NEAT STITCHED REPAIR WOULD FULLY HIDE. THE BOTTOM OPENING OF THE SKIRT NEEDS TO BE STITCHED BACK AS IT IS OPENED AS WELL AS OPENING A PREVIOUS REPAIRED MEND OF A HALF INCH. WHEN STUDIED, I BELIEVE THAT A PIECE OF BRAIDING WAS REMOVED FIVE INCHES BENEATH THE WAISTBAND AS TRACE STITCHES SHOW WITH A FEW PINHOLES. UNDERARMS HAVE SOME PERIOD MENDS WITH SEVERAL ADDITIONAL STITCHES NEEDED WITH TWO TINY SPLITS BEGINNING ON THE UNDERARM UNDER THE LEFT SIDE. THREE PINPOINT STAINS TO THE SKIRTING ARE UNSEEN.
