I believe this is a hand-made blouse maybe from about the 1950’s. Not sure if it is silk, but that type feel. Has the unfished him at the bottom, I guess they just tucked it in. Measures 17 inches pit to pit and 21 inches in length.
Dress is in good condition but needs cleaning as it was stored a long time and has a slight dusty smell. Sleeves are sheer chiffon with lace cuffs. There are a few small spots on a few buttons. The hem of the outer dress layer is NOT hemmed and has some unraveling. Originally it looks like it was cut with pinking shears. It will need a rolled hem or fresh trim. I do not know the material but likely a polyester blend. Bust 15 inches across armpit to armpit Waist 12.25 inches across Length 49 inches shoulder to hem (lining) chiffon overlay a little longer
Vintage party dress, appears to be about a size 2. There are no tags or size info on the dress. There is a patch on the lower part of the dress, and the seam is starting to come apart on the neckline as seen in the pictures. Lying flat, the dress measures 13″ across the waist, 17″ across the chest, shoulder to waist is 13.5″, skirt length is 34″, shoulder to bottom of skirt measures 47.5″. I have tried to picture areas of concern as best I could, at the top of each sleeve just before the seam the taffeta is torn, also on the very bottom of the left side, a pin hole on the front also pictured and each cuff has split taffeta.
