A fantastic vintage blouse from the 1950s! Soft and lightweight pure silk in pretty shades of teal, dark brown and copper stripes. Open front with half length sleeves and rounded shawl collar. Large patch pocket at each hip and matching sash belt (no belt loops). Labeled Tommies, Man Tailored, by Harry Berger. From what I can find, the Tommies line manufactured mostly pajamas but I did find several mentions of tops and sportswear. This piece was probably made for at home lounging, but I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t wear it out and about!
