I am doing all of this in my 40’s which is going to be a fun adventure and I start classes in the Fall of 2023. I am selling anything I can so that my student loans are as minimal as possible. Vintage Jerry Gilden Striped 1950’s Day Dress with Appliqué. There was a period of time in America that Jerry Gilden was in the top five producers of womens’ dresses. How cool is that!?!? Staining throughout garment and please see photos of this. This is to be incredibley expected with the living history of the garment and just adds to its beautiful unknown story. One stain appears to be a mark from a sales sticker at one point (see photos) Could be covered with an additional appliqué that is period appropriate or a pin that is modern. So many choices. Waist is 26 inches. Hips are full skirt. Bust is 34 inches. Shoulder to shoulder is 15 inches on the flat.
