This is a Vintage Ruth Matthews Design tweed wool skirt suit. The jacket is labeled a size 10, and the skirt does not have a size in it. The jacket measures 18 inches from underarm to underarm, when the jacket is laid flat, and 24 inches from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the jacket. The skirt measures 14 1/2 inches at the waist, and 18 1/2 inches at the hip, when the skirt is laid flat. It measures 24 inches long, from top to bottom. The shoulders are padded. Wonderful custom made or home sewn by an incredibly gifted seamstress 1960s pink tweed jacket . Fully lined. Modeled on my size 6-8 dress form. As pointed out in the pics, there is a decorative button missing off one sleeve cuff. There are also 3 stains all inside only on the lining. Both armpits are stained and there is a small stain on the abdomen. No stains on the outside.
