This 1920s silk dress is a gorgeous color of green, with tiered skirt in a flirty hip-hugging style. The V shaped bodice overlay has a nude silk backing with tape lace and white beads. The price reflects the flaws to this beautifully colored 1920s dress.
The black belt sets off the fine net ruffle layers which have one black layer and one ecru layer on each of the ruffled side panels that cascade down the dress. Gorgeous large insets of lace and fine floral satin stitch embroidery are on the 3/4 length sleeves.

Most of the photos show the bodice more tan than it is in real life and show the skirt bottom as rosy pink, which it is not. The most accurate colors on my monitor are shown in the photo on the dark skinned mannequin and the one showing the full circle skirt. TAGS: No tags CLOSURES: Sideseam metal zipper CONDITION: A few faint spots on the back of the bodice and very minor seam stress there – see close-up. Some subtle color variations in the skirt that are not noticeable with the volume and the three tiered color progression.

Gucci Fall 2015 black pleated silk ruffle dress. A similar version of this dress but in red was shown on the runway. This dress is in very good condition with only a few minor snags to the fabric. It would benefit from being professionally pressed to get all the pleats lying perfectly flat again. The previous owner also added some hook & eye closures in the front v neck to make it less revealing. They would be easy to remove desired. See photos. The size tag says 42, which for Gucci is typically equivalent to a US size 6 according to the Gucci website.
