Antique 1880s Black Mourning Capelette Wide Chantilly Lace & Glass Beading
This is a lovely example of mid-Victorian mourning style, with a high neck and long gathered luxurious chantilly lace all around the circle hem. Rows of black glass beads adorn the black silk faille material of the capelette, and a row of beads is partially hidden in the silk ruffle between the top of the cape and the wide black lace.
Antique 1880s Two-Piece Cotton Summer White Bustle Dress Original Buttons 32″ B
Gorgeous and stately, this white cotton plaid weave summer dress dates to the 1880s and is made in the bustle style, with long front ‘tails’ and short back ones designed to poof out over a tournure bustle. The jacket has a built in interior buttoning bodice as well, and the skirt has the traditional cartridge pleats in back to accommodate a bustle, with a slight train. The skirt is complete except for needing a button and buttonhole to close it on the side. There are ruffle trims on both the skirt and the jacket. This stunning white two piece set may never have been worn, given the incomplete waist closure! Very petite at 30-32 bust and 24 waist, the skirting is long at 38 inches in front. The jacket measures 34 inches long from the shoulders to the front tails, and 22 inches long in back. The sole flaw, pictured in the final photo, is a small brown mark which looks a bit like a burn mark on the skirt. Really a special set! I cannot accept returns on these antique items so please check the measurements and ask any questions prior to purchase, thanks!
ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 1880’S VICTORIAN COTTON PETTICOAT LACE BANDS DRAWSTRING WAIST
This is an antique Victorian petticoat. The fabric has quite a bit of body and weight to it. This Victorian era petticoat would provide a good deal of fullness under a skirt. There is a drawstring at the waist, but it only draws closed at the back, again providing fullness and shape in the derriere region.

Antique 1880s Black Mourning Bodice Top Silk Net Lace Velvet Ribbon AS IS
One side both front and back has a V shaped overlay in black silk velvet ribbon and the other side is more of the silk netting. There is an area on back where the silk netting overlay was repaired, and a tear to the interior silk on the bodice back, so I do think that wearing this fragile creation would be dicey at best, but excellent for pattern, study or display!
Antique 1800s Victorian RARE Silk Women’s Coat Beautiful Embroidery & Hand Work
The five buttons even though concealed by the front overlap are worked in silk with a checked pattern, with the buttonholes hand stitched and there are wide black ribbons draped from the front as well, making this very likely the mourning coat of a wealthy woman.
