This 2 piece dress is made of silk velvet ina yummy chocolate brown color. Featuring long tapered sleeves, a side hook closure, and a draped neckline, this has gorgeous Art Deco seaming and a fluid drape. Silk? An authentic vintage circa late 1920’s or early 30’s, the top is separate from the skirt. So elegant! In very good condition, this is unmarked so please refer to the measurements below for an accurate fit. No fading, holes, or repairs. This looks fantastic with the vintage silk slip listedseparately, so don’t forget to check out my other items….. Pull on over the head. The lace on the bodice has 2 layers, the bottom layer is net so any holes are camouflaged a bit, see photos. The lace at both arm pits has been repaired, and at one armpit needs a couple more.

This top is beautiful. It has a sheer lining with the decorative overlay. The pearl style buttons up the back have a peakaboo around the bra line. The edges and hem are the outline of leaves from the overlay. It’s like art meets vintage style creating a nostalgic piece.
