A glorious and glamorous Parisian style evening dress in fabulous textiles including a black taffeta with tufts of cut velvet and a full lining that is stiffened at the bottom to help the hem to flair. It has a matching 15” wide long black silk taffeta sash that attaches and forms a bow in the back. It also has small shoulder pads which could be removed, and it flairs at the hip. The label indicates that the size is a French 46, which corresponds to a US size 14, and it is handmade. It is numbered 368770 on the label. The condition is excellent. We find one tiny hole in the long and wide sash. Across shoulders: 16”Bust: 40”Waist: 34” Length: 54”Sleeve length underarm: 18-1/2”
