Vintage 1960s Renaissance revival empire waist mini dress with billowy sleeves that gather with a snap at the wrist and a deep red velvet, crushed bodice vest with gold brocade trim that closes with a single hook in the front. The pieces can be worn separately or together. The only tag on the inside identify a size 7. No brand or fabric content. Square neck line with pleading at the bust. Laying flat measures 32 inches shoulder to hem, 16 inches armpit to armpit, 14.75 inches across the natural waist, 18 inches across the hip. The vest is 14 inches long.
Back zipper closure. There are a couple of holes in the bodice lining and a smudge mark on the skirt lining. None are seen when worn. Shown in photos.
