Donald Brooks will take basic black and add a deep V neckline and slightly Empire waist but punctuate it with a woven satin 4.75″ wide cummerbund in bright rainbow hues, tying in the back with three long black ribbons. Synthetic black matte crepe has some give but is not « stretchy ».Echoed at each hidden snap wrist with little rainbow overlaps, you could wear basically any color shoe and it would be right.
