This is an exceptionally RARE late 1800s early 1900s Victorian Women’s riding jacket made of wool and silk lining from the iconic Carson, Pirie, Scott & Co of Chicago. The outer facets include black celluloid buttons all down the bodice (none missing) This is a double breasted jacket with an exaggerated collar! The jacket is best fit for a very petite individual 25” waist and 32” bust MAX This jacket is showing its age at the inside- the silk lining is degraded just at the tagline- the only flaw I spotted. If desired to wear, I would recommend removing the silk lining and wearing as is because the wool is in exceptional condition and very sturdy.
